Georg made it! I picked him up at the bus station, covered in sweat, and brought him back to my apartment, safe and sound. He luckily arrived on the hottest day of the year, I think I’ve already changed my own clothing three times today. We hit an izakaya for dinner, exposing him to tempura, yakitori, and fried seafood rice. Tomorrow we’re going to hit Asakusa and check out some culture, and some raw fish.

If anyone has suggestions for things to do to Georg in Japan, voice them now.
