I’ve been watching Astroboy, and have decided that retro visions of the future are cool. Astroboy is awesome, I’ve been renting the DVDs, disregarding the suggested age group on the cover of the rental boxes. I always thought the Astroboy story would be somewhat simple and hokey, but it offers up a lot of drama and quite a bit of tragedy. It’s an insightful story, which I’ve come to expect from the brilliance of Osamu Tezuka. That’s pretty much how I’ve been wasting away my evenings, watching anime, drinking more tea, and trying to get more sleep.

I hope everyone is ready for my return to the States! I’m coming home this Monday, I can’t wait to see everyone! I hope someone’s taking me out for burritos!!!
