The Kappa family
Kappa’s always seem to get the short end of the deal
Sorry for not posting recently, I’ve been busy fighting the airline ticket agencies who want to charge me for things like, “weekend fare,” and “fuel tax.” I have to pay all these strange taxes and fees, which makes me wonder, then what is the actual value of the ticket itself? What is that money for? If I pay the weekend fee, am I getting better service? The weekend is just like any other day, except it’s crowded and uncomfortable. They should charge less for the weekend, because you have to deal with crowds of annoying people and your flight is likely to be crammed and smelly,… do you want to pay an extra $50 for that? Then there’s this new fuel tax(I’m going off here, so excuse me), I know who I’m supposed to thank for this one. However, what the hell? Since when are we paying for the fuel as well? When I ride the budget bus from Chinatown Boston to Chinatown New York for $10, am I paying for the gas the bus swallows during those 4 hours? I don’t think so! So when I’m buying cheap, budget airline tickets, why am I paying an additional $200 for fuel and other misc. taxes? Errrr! Alright, well, I guess since I’m a tiny insect human, and nothing more than a speck on a glass window to these corporations, then what can I really do?
(If you decide to read any further, then don’t label me nuts for this)Hey, I had a crazy dream last night and I sort of remember it. I dreamed that I had a friend who built a personal helicopter machine, and he let me borrow it to fly up this forest mountain. It was shaped like a bathtub I think with wings, but from what I remember, the seat was good. The thing flew me to the top of the mountain, then flew me down to this river area. I remember getting out of the contraption, and walking to the river, only to see… A KAPPA* FAMILY IN THE RIVER!!! (*Kappa are a Japanese mythological creature that look like half human/half frog-turtle thing) I start walking over to see them, then suddenly I notice a group of humans walking towards one of their young(you can stop reading here if this is getting too strange for you to handle). Figuring I had to save this creature, I rush down and into the water, looking for something to distract the humans with as the kappa family escape. There were a bunch of giant, balloon-like frogs in the water which looked useful to me. I grabbed one and squeezed it, sending out a billow of myst that confused the humans walking towards the kappa(I really shouldn’t be writing this…). The kappa escaped, and I had to ride a bus home. The bus made a stop at a small village, and I got out for some reason to look around. When I got out, this human family walked up to me and said thanks for saving them, it was the kappa family in disguise!! They then offered to take me home with them and teach me their secret tricks, so I accepted and then I woke up. I don’t ever want to dream of something that strange again! I know it’s this crazy pillow I bought at Donki Hote, I got a cheap, $10 pillow that shapes around my head for extra comfort. Extra comfort indeed, this thing inspires craziness.
