I got a new lens for Christmas, a 70-300mm for my D80(Thanks Mom and Dad!). My work schedule has left me little to no free time(I spent Christmas eve and day working my tail off) so I’ve only been able to test it out from my porch. The top photo is of some cranes working near Roppongi Hills, which is the second photo. I think I’ll have more fun with this when I can actually go somewhere that has wildlife beyond giant black crows and chihuahuas. Hopefully next month I’ll have some more free time to roam around, it’s a nice lens and makes a cool sound when focusing.
