Kick-Off!

This was in the vending machine outside my office. I can’t remember if we ever started to get coffee in our vending machines in America, but in Tokyo there’s a new line of canned coffee every month. With every new canned coffee release comes another one of their increasingly bizarre names. Nothing appealing like “Cinnamon Dolce Latte” or “Espresso Macchiato”,… no, they get names like “Kick-Off!” and “Deepresso”. Even the can colors are strange, not remotely relating to coffee, but more to a soft drink like soda or juice with bright blue and red labels. The flavor will still never taste like real coffee. Kick-Off, BTW, tastes like hot liquid socks with a strong, permeating aroma.

Man... that's truly disgusting.
NO, really... REALLY... that's disgusting. Btw, I'm a coffee-whore now as well as my previous status as tea-snob.

Y'know, Deepresso, that just makes me think it'd make me feel really sad once I drank it, not all perky an happy like coffee (aka caffeine syrup) is SUPPOSED to.

So hey, you ina new space/office now? Stay online a lil longer than it takes a person to hiccup an we should catch up! I'm practically glued to my keyboard these days.
