Georg, John and Andrew, in Japan!
John, Georg and Andrew all made it to Japan! We spent the day together yesterday and explored the electric town in Akihabara and the Asakusa area. John was amazed by the vastness of Akihabara’s endless electronics shops. By the evening, we made our way to the Asakusa shrine to take some photos of it lit at night. Afterwards, we had dinner on a little street filled with outdoor bars and restaurants. Our final dinner spot was at an okonomiyaki place(a sort of Japanese pizza), where an old lady took a liking to John and his beard. In fact, she liked him so much that she helped pay for our dinner bill! Before heading back to the hotel, we went for a round of taiko drumming at the local arcade, and even tried out the batting range upstairs.
Today is my bachelor party, lets see if I survive what they’ve got planned for me…
