Emotional watermelon
Anisuru took this photo with my camera at Waki’s parents house last weekend. We had a family gathering and he cooked a fantastic curry dinner with my favorite sweet curry eggs again. I’m not sure if it was his intent, but the photo he took of this watermelon slice just feels so emotional to me. Those eyes, so intense… or maybe I’m the only one that sees a face in this watermelon??

I kept thinking, even if I did get those monkeys free, there’s really no place for them in Tokyo, and they’d be caught so quickly anywhere else. How do they get over here from Africa? I’m always stopped at customs for having too many shirts from my trips to Hong Kong, they always think I’m bringing them back to sell. If I get stopped for having too many shirts, why on earth wasn’t this guy stopped for bringing LIVE CAGED MONKEYS into Japan?!
