Nikkor 50mm 1.4
Alvin introduced me to Map Camera in Shinjuku over the weekend. It’s a specialty shop that’s split into two separate stores, one for manual focus lenses and one for auto focus lenses, new and used. I picked up an old antiquey-looking Nikkor 50mm 1.4, as I didn’t have a prime lens before. Brings back memories of my old Nikon F and it’s lens with all the colorful numerals around the barrel. It’s nice to still be able to attach these old lenses to my new Nikon D80 body. I haven’t had time to shoot much with it yet, but this weekend I’ll take it out for a spin. The test shot above was at the checkout counter with my Sigma 10-20mm removed.
